More than one way to get you moving.
Shockwave therapy deals with the pain. These are the other things we do in Leixlip — for getting stronger, recovering faster, and knowing where you actually stand.
Total Body TEC
EMS training — twenty minutes a week
Electric muscle stimulation training. You wear a suit that sends impulses into the muscle while you move through simple exercises, so the muscle works harder than it would on its own.
A full session is twenty minutes, once a week. That’s the appeal for most people who come to us — they haven’t got three evenings a week to give a gym, and this doesn’t ask for them.
It isn’t twenty minutes flat out. Every exercise has a four-second rest built into it, and those rests gradually shorten as you get used to the work. You train in a miha bodytec suit, one-to-one, with someone watching what you’re doing the whole way through.
Your first session is free — a 12-minute trial. Shorter than a full session, long enough to feel exactly what it does. Come and try it before you decide anything.
WHO IT SUITS
- People with no time for a conventional gym routine
- Anyone getting back into training after a long gap
- Golfers and other sports people wanting strength without bulk
- People who’d rather train one-to-one than in a room full of strangers
Twenty minutes under the panels — nothing touches you

Red light therapy
Red and near-infrared light
Twenty minutes under red and near-infrared light. You lie or sit comfortably, the light does the work, and you get up and carry on with your day.
Red light sits at the visible end and is absorbed close to the surface. Near-infrared is invisible and travels further into the tissue. Most sessions use both, so you’re covering the skin and what’s underneath it in the same twenty minutes.
There’s no heat to speak of, nothing touches you, and there’s nothing to recover from. People generally use it for recovery after training and for general wellbeing.
€25 for a 20-minute session.
InBody 270
Find out where you actually stand. Free.
A body composition scan on an InBody 270. It takes about a minute, you stay fully clothed, and you walk away with a printout rather than a vague impression.
Stand on it, hold the handles, take the printout home
What it measures
Muscle mass, body fat and body water — broken down rather than lumped into a single number. A bathroom scale tells you what you weigh. This tells you what you’re made of.
How long it takes
About a minute standing on the machine, holding the handles. Clothes stay on. No gel, no nothing.
Why it’s worth doing
Because it gives you a starting point. Scan again in a few months and you can see what’s changed — whether you’ve built muscle rather than just lost weight.
NO CATCH
The body scan is free.
You don’t have to book anything else, and nobody will lean on you to. Come in, get scanned, take the printout home. If you decide afterwards that EMS training or shockwave is worth a go, grand. If you don’t, you’ve still got your numbers.
